Yes, these are monsters. But there is no logical dictate that prescribes the death penalty. I wish that they were dead. I certainly wish that they had been killed before they did their crime, but the death penalty will not bring back the wife and daughters once they are gone. I don't know what the killers are like and why they did this, but it seems to me that if they are released into society, there is every reason to believe that they will kill again. So that must be prevented.
