Good news is that the Court upheld Oregon law.
Bad news is that the new Justice Roberts was among the dissenters.
Maybe the Democrats should filibuster Judge Alito's confirmation.
Justice Antonin Scalia, who wrote the minority, dissenting view, said: "If the term 'legitimate medical purpose' has any meaning, it surely excludes the prescription of drugs to produce death."Screw you Scalia. How about you leave that to the people of Oregon. And what kind of sadist are you, anyway? "Legitimate medical purpose" surely includes reduction of suffering.
